Cars Updated for 2021
Some key car updates have arrived for 2021, so let’s take a look at what they were.
Manufacturers like to keep on top of the game when it comes to their cars, which is why they’ll often choose to give their models a mid-life refresh to ensure that they keep in line with the competition.
It’s something pretty much all car builders do and gives them an opportunity to increase the appeal of their car while also reminding buyers about them.
Tesla Model 3
Tesla is a company which frequently likes to update its models to ensure that they’re as cutting-edge as possible. The Model 3 is one such car, and it’s recently been sharpened thanks to new satin black surrounds to the windows and indicators, while new alloy wheels have been fitted too.
Inside, there are new wireless charging pads for your smartphone and additional USB-C charging ports, too.
Isuzu D-Max
Isuzu took the decision to revamp its imposing D-Max pick-up this year, bringing an even more noticeable ‘face’ to its popular truck. The ultra-large grille certainly makes this model look even more imposing than before.
More soundproofing for the cabin has been installed to improve refinement, while the car’s ride should be improved through the fitment of updated suspension too.
Kia Stinger
Kia’s Stinger may have struggled to find its feet in the executive saloon segment, but that hasn’t stopped the South Korean manufacturer from doubling down on its premium offering with a substantial new update.
The exterior has been lightly revised with new colours and wheels, while inside a comprehensively upgraded infotainment makes the cabin of the Stinger a high-tech place to be indeed.
Bentley Bentayga Hybrid
Bentley may have applied updates to its regular Bentayga last year, but it waited a little later to sharpen up its Hybrid version. It’s a noticeable change, this one, thanks to a completely redesigned rear end and a far sharper front.
Inside, the infotainment represents a huge step up over the previous car’s offering as it’s far easier to use than before.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio
Alfa has introduced all manner of updates to its cars, with many of them applied to its main SUV - the Stelvio. It now features darker trim around the headlights and grille which help to make the Stelvio look a touch subtler than before.
In addition, a new Ti trim has been added to the Stelvio’s list of available specifications, bringing the look and feel of the range-topping QV model but with a more regular list of powertrains.
Subaru XV
The Subaru XV might not be able to rival competitors in terms of outright sales, but it does well to punch above its weight in other areas. It’s surprisingly capable off-road, for instance, while plenty of standard equipment makes the XV a more affordable option than you might expect.
This update brings small revisions to the car’s exterior but adds to the XV’s already comprehensive list of driver assistance equipment.
Mazda CX-5
The CX-5 currently sits as Mazda’s largest SUV and has often won praise for its involving driver experience, which outshines many others in the segment. This update only looks to add to that with the introduction of a new, more efficient petrol engine and a limited-edition trim level.
The exterior can now be finished in one of a series of new colours, while the interior boasts an upgraded infotainment system too.
Fiat 500, 500X and 500L
The ever-popular Fiat 500 has been given an update for 2021, as has its 500X and 500L stablemates. It brings added exterior colour choices as well as a wider variety of trim levels.
Fiat has also increased the amount of standard equipment available on the trio, ensuring that buyers get better value for money.
