Used Renault Megane
Renault, with their Megane cars, have provided family-car buyers with reliable and stylish models.
The first version got launched in 2016, and it has received an array of updates since - it has better ride and handling, is better looking, and is incredibly economical too.
Now in its 4th generation, the model has been updated to accommodate a four-wheel-drive, flexible CMF platform, five-door, and five-seat hatchback.
Getting a comfortable position to drive in is easy with any model because the Renault Megane has height-adjustable front seats. You may even wish to set the seat low for a sporty feel.
Driving a used Renault Megane feels comfortable. It absorbs bump shocks very well and is excellent for cruising around town. No matter where you are, the Renault Megane is a safe vehicle. You get essentials like an advanced stability control system, airbags, automatic high-low beam, and hill-hold assist.
Interior
Renault Megane interior makes it easy to spend time in the car. The plastic dashboard and doors feel soft and smooth. The dashboard arrangement is unique, with a portrait touchscreen instead of the typical landscape arrangement.
Practicality
The Renault Megane can comfortably take four adults. The broad range of adjustments on the driver's seat means there’s no trouble getting comfortable. There is a lot of legroom at the back, making sitting there relaxing.
You will also enjoy the headroom. Though not exceptional, it is good. The rear doors open relatively wide to fit a child seat seamlessly. Accessing the rear seats is also hassle-free, thanks to the wide-opening doors.
The latest boot space just dropped by 19l compared to the old model. But 384l capacity means it’s spacious enough for your light items, but be aware of the high boot lip if loading the boot with heavy stuff.
The smaller storage spaces are abundant, meaning the door bins can hold a water bottle. The several cup holders are suitable to store smaller items.
Economy and Performance
The Renault Megane comes with three engine choices- a diesel and two petrol.
Renault Megane diesel thrives on a motorway with a cruise control of 70mph. This engine has 115HP with enough pulling power. This engine power is the most exceptional fuel economy model.
The 140bhp petrol engine is robust enough to steer Renault Megane at a decent speed. It’s suitable around towns, making it easy to navigate through traffic.
On the other hand, there is a 130hp petrol version. It's cheaper to buy and with a slightly better fuel economy.
