The first SUV that we are going to look at is the Skoda Kamiq, which has competitors such as the Volkswagen T-Cross and the Seat Arona. There are a lot of qualities associated with the Skoda SUV that make it one of the prime choices on the market, including the fact that it is large in size in terms of SUV standards.

There are also a lot of neat design elements associated with this vehicle, which are sure to please any car enthusiast. It comes with a split headlight design as well, featuring daytime LED running lights across the top, as well as sleek dynamic indicators, rear and front.

The good news does not end there when it comes to the practical and nifty features you are going to get with this Škoda SUV. Not only are you going to get practical features when it comes to the Kamiq SUV, but it offers excellent drive and comfort behind the wheel as well. You can choose from a number of different engines. Most people tend to go for the 1.0-litre 94bhp petrol engine. However, the 1.5-litre 148bhp petrol engine is recommended for those seeking a thrilling experience.

Škoda Karoq

If you are looking for one of the smaller SUVs, you may be interested in the Škoda Karoq. This is compact in terms of the external dimensions of the vehicle, however, it is still incredibly practical. This is because it uses the Simply Clever design philosophy, which the brand is known for. This has meant that the vehicle feels a lot more spacious and functional than you would probably expect.

This SUV was designed to replace the Škoda Yeti, which we will discuss in more depth later in the guide. You may have heard of the Škoda Yeti, as it is well-loved by car owners, and the fact that the Karoq was designed to fill those big boots should give you an indication of how much Skoda thinks of this SUV.

The exterior of the vehicle looks great and there are some lovely colour choices as well. However, we would be lying if we said that the exterior was the star of the show, as it is inside of the vehicle that really makes a big difference.

There is plenty of legroom and headroom inside of the vehicle. There are also a lot of great features, such as 12V socket, as well as the Varioflex seating. The boot is also very practical. Not only is there plenty of space, but you will notice a lot of helpful features that ensure that the boot is as functional and practical as possible.

We also need to mention the 9.1-inch touchscreen, which is very easy to use and highly responsive. It can link with both Apple and Android phones with ease.

Škoda Kodiaq

If you are yet to find a Škoda SUV that sounds right for you, it could be the Kodiaq that does the trick, as this was the first ever seven-seater to be released by Škoda. This SUV combines affordable pricing, impressive spaciousness, and handsome looks… what more could you want?

There are a number of different engines that are available should you decide to go for the Skoda Kodiaq. You can choose from all-wheel drive versions and front-wheel drive versions as well, which is something we mentioned as being important earlier when looking for the right SUV for your requirements.

The standard equipment on the Kodiaq includes Bluetooth, DAB radio, an eight-inch touchscreen that has smartphone mirroring, dual-zone climate control, and 18-inch alloy wheels. In addition to this, you have cruise control, rear parking sensors and a keyless start.

However, there are a number of other trims for those who would like to upgrade their vehicle. For example, you could decide to add selectable drive modes, piano black interior inserts, microsuede upholstery, heated front seats, and electric tailgates. You could also upgrade to a bigger touchscreen with integrated Wi-Fi if you wish.

Škoda Yeti

We cannot mention Škoda SUVs without talking about the Yeti. we are sure that you have heard about this SUV from Škoda before, as it is one of the most-loved vehicles from their range. The Skoda Yeti arrived on the market in 2009, and it has been highly popular ever since.

There are a lot of great qualities associated with the Yeti that still make it an excellent choice today, especially the practicality and the flexibility of the vehicle. Plus, you get real off-roading ability when you go for the four-wheel drive version of this popular Škoda SUV.

As is now a feature with most of the Škoda models, the Varioflex rear seat system is also a highlight. This system means that the bench cannot only be slided backward and forward, but you can remove it fully if you wish. You also have the ability to only pull the middle chair out, which generates more second-row space. This means that you get versatility that you simply cannot find in most other SUVs on the market today.

The majority of the Škoda Yetis on the market today will have a turbo diesel 2.0-litre engine under the bonnet, although there are some other engine models out there. The higher specification is around 168bhp, with the lower being 139bhp.

Of course, you will find a wide range of different Škoda Yeti SUVs in the used car market today. One of our favourites is the 2.0 TDI 4x4 170 version of the Škoda Yeti. This is a four-wheeled drive that has a more potent diesel engine, making it uniquely appealing. It is practical, good to drive, and very quick too. You can also go a lot further off-road than you may imagine with a good set of snow and mud tyres, meaning the possibilities are well and truly endless.

Škoda Enyaq iV

The last SUV in the Škoda range is the most recently introduced, the Škoda Enyaq iV. Škoda’s entrance to the electric car market. The car comes with a panoramic sunroof with a sliding glass section, perfect for those who love a bit of sunshine and fresh air. The Enyaq iV is available in different trims, with each trim featuring distinct wheels to suit your taste.

Which Škoda SUV is right for me?

As we have illustrated the Škoda SUV range is vast with lots of different options to suit different needs and preferences. One of the first factors to consider is safety. Safety should always be a major concern no matter the sort of car you are buying. What safety features does the car have? From the airbags to side-impact door beams, there are a lot of safety features in SUVs today, and you should never cut corners here.

Aside from this, take a look at the mileage. A lot of SUVs on the market are known for consuming fuel very quickly, so you will want a vehicle that is eco-friendly and fuel efficient. You also need to look at the features, from the infotainment system to the sunroof, as well as the comfort of the SUV. How comfortable is the Škoda SUV to drive? What is the headroom and the leg room like? Is the car an easy drive and does it handle bumps well? While we’re talking about the drive, you also need to factor in whether you want an all-wheel drive, two-wheel drive, or a four wheel-drive.
